Mr. Quik Home Services Build Home with Habitat for Humanity

Subject: Mr. Quik Home Services Along with Habitat for Humanity and Hank FM 97.1 Build a Home at the Indiana State Fair for a Much Deserving Family
(Indianapolis, IN, July 21, 2010) – Mr. Quik Home Services is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity and Country 97.1 Hank FM to build a home for a much deserving family, the Allen family. This, however, is not one of your ordinary Habitat for Humanity home projects – this particular home is going to be built during the State Fair and completed in just 15 days!
Don’t miss out on all of the excitement! Starting on August 6th at the State Fair you can come see Mr. Quik Home Services along with Hank FM as they join together with the Habitat for Humanity organization to build this amazing home. Following the fair, the completed house will be moved to a residential location in a nearby neighborhood, where the Allen’s will be able to settle into and enjoy their beautiful new home.
You can witness this great endeavor by stopping by what is being called, the “Ag House”, anytime during the State Fair. The home will be open to the public daily. Country 97.1 Hank FM and Mr. Quik Homes Services will be onsite during each day of the build and courtesy of Mr. Quik, you will also be able to watch live broadcasts on each Friday and Saturday morning of the fair. Mr. Quik Home Services, in addition to their sponsorship, will be donating their time, expertise, and materials to this home. They are providing and installing the electrical and the HVAC (heating, cooling and ventilation) systems to the home.
Brad Huff, President of Mr. Quik Homes Services states, “We are always looking for ways to help in our community. Habitat for Humanity is a wonderful way for us to give back to the community in which we live and work.”
Mr. Quik’s Vice President, Mike Fenrick, has been involved in Habitat for Humanity since 2001. He has been involved in building over 30 different homes and locally with Mr. Quik for the past 2 years. “There is no better feeling than being able to use your skills and expertise to help your neighbors who are in need”, states Fenrick.
Since 1987, Habitat for Humanity of Great Indianapolis, has built 374 homes in Indianapolis for families in need. In 2010 they plan to continue to add to that total!
This year’s State Fair, thanks to Habitat for Humanity, Mr. Quik Home Services and Hank FM, features this one of a kind home building experience that you won’t want to miss!
